California Breathing’s programs coordinate and leverage asthma actions and interventions of organizations and entities across the state by serving as a convener, funder and collaborator.
In 2004 CB conceptualized and implemented the California Asthma Partners (CAP).  CAP was created in response to the need in California for a comprehensive and strategic approach to addressing asthma.

About CAP

CAP is a self-directed, multidisciplinary team of high-level asthma leaders throughout the state guiding implementation of the Strategic Plan for Asthma in California by coordinating state-wide efforts. Partners include representatives from fields of medicine, education, advocacy, research and policy.
