About Asthma Partners About | COLLABORATING IN THE FIGHT AGAINST ASTHMA In a state as large and diverse as California, there are numerous statewide, regional and local organizations working on asthma management and prevention. Partnership building is a critical component for the successful implementation of the Strategic Plan for Asthma in California. To this end, California Breathing participates in a range of partnership activities with both public and private agencies at the state and local level. Partnerships with California Breathing take several forms, including, but not limited to: - organizations, entities, and coalitions with which we collaborate on specific interventions. - those with which we have an advisory or consultative relationship. - those with which we have a contract to implement interventions at the local level through our 'Strategic Implementation Grants.' California Breathing developed and provides support in maintaining California Asthma Partners (CAP) www.asthmapartners.org. CAP is a statewide partnership of diverse organizations interested in asthma and committed to the implementation of the Strategic Plan for Asthma in California. |
